Overall , the Deluxe (90 minute) hair treatment session with Maggie was very relaxing and well worth it! Unfortunately my experience after led me to feel super uncomfortable and not only did they miss out on a sale, I most probably won't be returning due to it.

When I arrived, I was asked if I booked the deluxe and to take a seat. My technician, Maggie, showed me what my scalp and hair roots looked like up close on a screen. Within minutes, she led me to a private space sectioned off by long drapes, where a comfortable massage sofa was connected to the wash basin. She also provided a robe to change into (a quick note to ladies: your shoulders may get a bit wet, so it’s best not to keep your bra on to avoid damp straps). So since I booked the Deluxe Hair Treatment (90 minutes) — about 60 minutes were spent in the massage chair getting the hair treatments and the remaining 30 minutes was spent in the common area with others and included a relaxing shoulder and neck massage followed by a gentle blow-dry. The entire experience was very soothing, I was also pleasantly surprised to see they use doTERRA essential oils, which I personally love! Maggie was amazing and very professional (only downfalls were the water was still very cold when she started rinsing my hair. I wish she had been patient enough to wait until it was more warm to the touch and then the owner kept walking in and out of the spa so I could hear her and nearby cars honking until she finally closed the door when I went to the common area) The spa is in a smaller sized unit inside the plaza and the space is tightly confined so if the door is open, you could hear everything going on passing by/outside.

While I was getting my hair dried, Maggie told me about their package deal (comes out to approximately buy 8 sessions, get 2 free )10 deluxe sessions for $1280 - fully transferable and never expires and had the owner come to explain it to me. I told her I’d return shortly to purchase it but when I came back around 2:15pm (within 30 minutes of me initially leaving) the spa was completely empty to the eye (no staff at the front desk). I could tell there was another session going on so I did not want to be rude and yell out for someone so I made little sounds with my car keys and even force coughed while I waited for about 10 minutes to see if anyone would acknowledge me or simply check the room. I couldn't wait anymore as I had to pick up my kids so I left.

It was honestly unsettling that no one was present at all, not even a peek to check the room. With how the world is nowadays, this made me feel uneasy about safety and security. As much as I enjoyed my experience, I’m hesitant to return knowing there might not always be staff around and seems customer service definitely was not of priority to them.

Maggie deserves all the praise for her amazing service though hence the 4 stars and I truly hope the owner of the spa improves front desk coverage and be more thoughtful with every client....more
